The Coppertop Jewellery Workshop offers a welcoming introduction to working with silver clay and the techniques involved in creating handmade jewellery. It's suitable for beginners and participants will begin by learning the fundamentals of the material before taking time to develop and refine their own design ideas. We'll be creating pendant necklaces, dangly earrings or both! Once designs are chosen (guidance and inspiration provided, if needed), the making process begins, followed by a relaxed break for tea and cake while the pieces dry. The workshop then continues with sanding and filing, leading into the firing stage. Finally, each piece is carefully finished and transformed into a completed item of jewellery to take home.

Workshop includes;-

  • Guided tuition with Caroline Powell, Coppertop Jewellery
  • Maximum 6 participants per class (minimum 4)
  • 7g silver clay (option to purchase more)
  • Sterling silver chain and pair of earhooks (option to purchase more)
  • Jewellery pouch
  • Refreshments

You will be contacted by email to confirm arrangements for the workshop nearer the date.
