About Coppertop

At Coppertop Jewellery, I am dedicated to creating beautiful handmade silver and copper jewellery that not only captivates the eye but also aligns with sustainable practices. Based in Sheffield, my mission is to provide unique pieces that reflect both artistry of the natural world and environmental responsibility. Each item in my collections, including our baby oak earrings, as well as the daisy jewellery, is meticulously handcrafted from recycled materials. This commitment to sustainability ensures that the metal used is from recycled sources, significantly reducing the ecological footprint and involvement with conflict mining. My jewellery boxes are eco-friendly, produced from materials from FSC forests.

I have been making jewellery using precious metal clay and silversmithing practices over the past four years. My main influence is nature, using natural materials or the local landscape to help create my pieces. My passion for jewellery making is found in every piece, and this spurred my creation of Coppertop Jewellery after a 25 year career working as a doctor came to a close. In 2024 I was delighted to have been invited to join the Guild of Master Craftmen and complete my Diploma in Silver Jewellery with the Jewellers Academy.

As well as selling online I attend artisan craft events across the country and am a stockist at Michael Claxton Gallery, Bird's Yard and Wickwire in Sheffield and Ms Gallery in Chesterfield.

By choosing Coppertop Jewellery, you are not only acquiring beautiful items but are also supporting moving towards more sustainable fashion. As I continue to grow, I remain committed to our core values of craftsmanship and sustainability. I invite you to explore the collection and join me on a journey towards a more sustainable future in the world of jewellery.
