Gold vermeil is solid silver jewellery with a thick (5x standard gold plating) coat of 24 carat gold. Giving it the bright 24 carat yellow gold finish at a more affordable price than solid gold pieces. Earrings are supplied with gold filled earhooks and pendants are supplied with gold plated chains.
